Terms of Service

The service

AuctionSignal ("we", "us") is operated from Greencastle, Pennsylvania. The service watches public auction sources for lots matching a buying profile you set, scores each lot for fit (Match) and for how much to trust its listing data (Confidence), and alerts you before it closes. We never bid on any lot, on anyone's behalf.

Accounts and subscriptions

The service is offered as a monthly subscription per organization, at the price shown on the pricing page at the time you sign up. New subscriptions include a 14-day trial. After the trial, your payment method is charged each billing period until you cancel.

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Seats and usage limits are as described on the pricing page for your plan.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings, or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not refund the current billing period unless we say otherwise in writing. Access continues through the end of the period you already paid for.

No guarantee a listing is accurate

Confidence is our estimate of how much a given listing can be trusted, not a certification. We read listing data from third-party auction sources we do not control, and those sources can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Match and Confidence scores, landed-cost estimates and every other number in the product are decision support, not a guarantee. You are responsible for verifying a lot before you bid on it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to place bids automatically, or represent that it does.
• Resell, sublicense or provide the service to a third party as your own.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, scrape the product, or reverse engineer it.
• Use the service for anything unlawful, or to infringe someone else's rights.

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates this section, or that we reasonably believe puts the service or other customers at risk.

Data

See the Privacy Policy for what we collect and how it is used. What your organization buys and passes on stays in your tenant; we do not share it with other customers or use it to influence another customer's rankings.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. We will post the new effective date here when we do; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
